XRP funds took in money for a 13th straight week while Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana funds lost nearly $1.25 billion. For the week ended Oct. 9, SoSoValue counted $11.31 million into US-listed spot XRP ETFs and about $1.248 billion out of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana products combined (CryptoSlate).

Bitcoin's outflow was $681.1 million, Ethereum's was $542.07 million, and Solana's was $24.81 million. Ethereum's week is its largest weekly outflow since January, and Solana's figure ends a 14-week inflow streak.

Asset Weekly net flow Streak status
XRP +$11.31 million 13th straight inflow week
Bitcoin −$681.1 million First negative week after three positive weeks
Ethereum −$542.07 million Outflow in every session; largest weekly outflow since January
Solana −$24.81 million First negative week since June; ends a 14-week inflow streak

Don't treat XRP's green week as a rotation that replaced the money leaving the majors. It didn't come close. XRP's weekly inflow offset less than 1% of the combined withdrawals from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. The streaks and the dollars are different facts. XRP has taken in money for 13 weeks, Bitcoin just snapped a three-week inflow run, Ethereum was red in every session, and Solana just ended 14 weeks of inflows. Nearly $1.25 billion left those three, and the $11.31 million that came into XRP didn't replace it.

Price still moved the asset totals, including on the fund that took new money. XRP products ended the week with $1.57 billion in net assets, down from $1.66 billion the week before, even while inflows continued, because the token's price moved too. Shares came in, and the pile still shrank. A flow table tells you who subscribed or redeemed. An assets figure also includes the market. Watch only the streak and you'll miss a smaller pile of assets. Watch only the assets and you'll miss a thirteenth green week.

If you hold any of these funds, wait for Monday, Oct. 12, before you treat the streak as a habit you have to chase. Write down the inflow and the net assets, then set them next to Monday's print. Check whether the XRP inflow is still there after the reopen, and whether Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana slow down or print another day of withdrawals. Until those prints land, read the week you have. Don't guess the next one.
