Ethereum’s developers are opening the question box on September 16

Colourful paper question marks gathered around a small open wooden question box.

If your Ethereum questions have outgrown the group chat, there is a more direct place to put them.

The Ethereum Foundation’s Protocol cluster has scheduled a Reddit ask-me-anything session for September 16 at 14:00 UTC, according to its September 9 announcement. That is 7 a.m. in Vancouver. Researchers and developers will answer questions about the protocol.

The dedicated r/ethereum thread is already open for questions and repeats the scheduled start time. Its organizers ask readers to put one question in each comment, which should make the eventual answers easier to follow.

The Foundation’s suggested subjects include post-quantum work, formal verification, privacy and client development. Those are invitations to discuss ongoing work, not announcements that a feature has shipped.

Our suggestion for getting something useful from the session: ask what evidence or testing would move an idea forward, and what still blocks it. A specific question about a trade-off usually tells you more than a broad request for a launch date.

This is an event preview. The session’s answers are still ahead of us; any concrete commitments or technical claims will need to be checked when they appear.
