You can now ask Claude a plain-language question of a company data warehouse and get a live dashboard back, with every number opening onto the query that produced it. Anthropic opened that beta on October 8. It connects to a warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or ClickHouse, and it can use an app you've already connected, such as Salesforce.

The beta is for paid plans: Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise, not the free plan, and an Enterprise owner has to turn it on before you see it. There's no separate dashboard fee, and the queries count toward your usage limits.

Open the query before you share the chart

Ask for the dashboard in chat. That's the path. You don't file a ticket, and you don't have to write the SQL yourself. Claude writes a query for each chart, runs it on the source you connected, and keeps the numbers current as that data changes. Each chart shows when those numbers were last refreshed. The dashboard is saved with your other artifacts, so you reopen it when the numbers move instead of pasting the prompt again.

Use it for the quick question you'd otherwise wait on, such as how this week's signups compare with last month's. Say what you want to know, not just the chart type. "How do this month's signups by channel compare with last month's?" gives Claude more to query than "make a signups chart." Name the table if you know where the rows live. You can then ask, in the same chat, for a region filter or a weekly view, and Claude rewrites the query.

Open the query before you pass the chart on. If it's counting the wrong table, tell Claude what to change. The dashboard stays private until you share it.

The same announcement takes Docs, Slides, and Design out of beta on every plan, including Free, and says people have made more than 45 million docs, decks, and designs in Claude. Motion, the animation beta shipping beside the dashboards, is for Team and Enterprise. You don't need Motion to build a chart.

Start with a question you could check yourself, so a wrong table is obvious before you rely on the chart. Share it when the query matches what you asked.
